NestingPlay has launched an early childhood development/education program in India, where we work closely with schools, teachers and parents, similar to the work we did in Kenya.
Working in Anganwadis/ Teacher trainings in public schools: by working together we help them to transition to learning through play, adapted to local opportunities.
We also show teachers how to involve children who are developmentally delayed in common activities and how to support their development.
As part of our project, we run a parent academy to teach parents about positive parenting, how to connect with their children, how to play with them, and get to know about the milestones of child development, which helps them to recognise if their child is developmentally delayed so they can seek help earlier and get help earlier.
